On April 28, TANG Jiqiang, Institute Professor and CEO of SWUFE Think Tank, published a paper on China Youth Daily. According to Professor TANG, to promote the integration of Chengdu and Chongqing, first of all, we should solve the problems in the integrated development by separating the economic zone and administrative one appropriately. The obstacles caused by administrative regions can be overcome by exploiting the market, the “invisible hand”, so that Chengdu-Chongqing region can develop together as a whole economic unit.
