The project hosted by Prof. WANG Qing, the director of ICFS of SWUFE is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC)

At the end of August, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) announced the result in 2014. A Study of the Transfer of Systemic Financial Risk in China under the Constraint of Bank Capital hosted by Pro. WANG Qing who is the director of the Institute of Chinese Finance Studies (ICFS) of SWUFE, received General Program funding.

Director WANG Qing has long been engaging in teaching and research in the fields of capital market, corporate finance, macro-financial theory and policy, and financial supervision etc. The project this year will build an analytical framework based on "capital constraint-systemic risks of banks-macro financial risks" from the perspective of combining micro-prudential and macro-prudential. It will not only helps to expand the theory of capital supervision and theory of financial risk transfer, but also supports for weighing the effectiveness of China’s bank capital regulatory policies, optimizing financial supervision, and deepening financial reform with some evidences and theory.
