From October 8th to 17th, 2015, led by Vice President YIN Qingshuang, Prof. WANG Qing, the director of the ICFS of SWUFE participated in the "16th Sino-German Monetary Policy Seminar" held at the Berlin University of Economics and Law in Germany. On behalf of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Vice President Qingshuang Yin signed an agreement with Professor Zaby, Vice President of Berlin University of Economics and Law, to jointly establish the “German Branch of the Collaborative Innovation Center of Financial Security”. Both sides agreed ¬to further enhance the cooperative relationship between the two universities on the basis of the long-term cooperation and exchanges between the two universities, and at the same time strengthen cooperation. At the same time, joint academic research on "financial security" is about to be conducted with deeper collaboration between the Central Bank of China and the Deutsche Bundesbank. The two parties will also contact other European universities and financial institutions to build the Sino-German Collaborative Innovation Center into an open academic exchange platform. The two sides also decided to jointly conduct two research projects this year and agree to hold an international conference on financial security in China next year.
In the subsequent itinerary, the delegation of SWUFE also visited the Technical Cooperation Department of the Deutsche Bundesbank, the Politecnico di Milano, and the IPAG Business School of Nice, France, and conducted in-depth discussions in the field of bank-school cooperation, student exchange, academic exchanges, cooperative research and etc. with fruitful results.
